Lost Angel

Lost Angel

Angel child stumbling lost and alone in the night
Following your own path through your life
Fiesty, defiant, proudly independent
Living life as you choose, doing as thou wished
Teachings forgotten, and old friends ignored
All as close as a phone call, but still so far away
And Ultimately too far, and far too late
In the end only a lost angel, finally found
Lying broken and bleeding, all alone in the night

I

I

I am light and I am darkness, I am a shadow
I am a angel of night, and a demon of daylight, I am a man.
I walk between the boundaries of what is, and what might be. I am an enigma.
I walk between worlds trying to find balance. Feared by some, loved by others. Yet I am apart.
I surround myself with my work, my skills, talents, and beliefs. Yet I am bored
I gather friends and enemies around me. Yet I am alone.
I ask myself, am I a fiend, or a savior. A Devil or a Saint. I am so unsure.
I am a leader, and a follower, a wise man and an idiot.
I am a poet, and an illiterate, a scientist, and a mage.
I deal in the here and now, and yet live for what can’t be seen. I am a child of Lillith.
I know not where I came from or where I have yet to travel, but here I stand. Waiting, watching, learning.
